Printing vs Displaying Reports

To Print or Display a report in the Report Module

After you have selected the report and the criteria you desire to be included in the report, it is generated by doing one of the following using the two buttons, Print or Display, at the bottom-left of the screen:

Print
  • Select Print button. The report is sent to the printer.

Note: You need to have a default printer set up; it can be a locally attached, network, or you can setup a "display only" option if you don’t want to use an actual printer; however, instead of using this setup, you should just view using the Display button which would work best.

However, if you do click Print without a printer set up and selected, a Windows Explorer Save dialog box displays. Navigate to the folder where you would like to save this report. The file format is in OpenXPS to support as many applications that can and will open this report.
